Disclaimer

Who we are, what we do, and what we don't — in plain English.

eorinumber.eu is an independent, third-party agent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the European Commission, HMRC, or any government authority. You can apply directly with the relevant customs authority free of charge — our fee covers preparation, filing, follow-up and support.

Independent service, not a government body

We are a private company offering an assisted EORI registration and retrieval service. Registering an EORI number with a national customs authority is free. When you use our service, you pay a service fee — we prepare your application, file it correctly, follow up with the authority, and support you until you can trade. Using our service is optional. You are always free to apply directly yourself.

No legal, tax, or customs advice

The information on this website and provided through our service is general information about EORI registration and related customs procedures. It is not legal, tax, or customs advice and should not be relied on as such. For guidance specific to your situation, consult a qualified customs, legal, or tax professional.

How EORI numbers are issued

EORI numbers are issued by the relevant customs authority, not by us. We prepare and submit your application accurately and follow up on your behalf, but the decision and the timing rest with the authority. Processing times shown on this site are typical ranges based on our experience and authority guidance — they are indicative, not guaranteed. Where we are unable to obtain or retrieve a number for reasons within our control, our Refund Policy applies.

Accuracy of your information

The accuracy and speed of your registration depend on the information you give us. Incorrect, incomplete, or out-of-date details you provide may cause delays or rejection by the authority, and we are not responsible for outcomes caused by such information.

Information on this site can change

Customs rules, authority procedures, and processing times change over time. We keep this site current to the best of our ability, but we do not warrant that every detail is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times. Always confirm current requirements with the relevant official authority.

Customs representation is separate

Our EORI service does not include acting as your customs representative. Businesses established outside the EU generally need an indirect representative to import into the EU — this is a separate requirement that our EORI service does not fulfil. If you need it, we can refer you to partners who provide representation and VAT services. See how our service works.

External links

This site links to official customs authorities and other third-party websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any external site.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, eorinumber.eu is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on this site, or from the decisions or timing of any customs authority. The full scope of our obligations and liability is set out in our Terms of Service.
